CEO & Partner
Rob is CEO and part of the founding team at Founders Intelligence. He has extensive experience of leading strategy, digital due diligence and innovation projects for clients including Tesco, Endemol Shine, Exponent, Diageo and Rightmove. Prior to Founders Intelligence, he was in the media and technology strategy team at PwC, ran the analytical team for a multi-billion pound spectrum auction at EE and started his career at data analytics start-up BIME.
Dale is a partner at Founders Intelligence and a non-executive director at Xero, the global cloud accounting software company, and Cranemere Group, a holding company for mid-cap sized businesses. She started her career at PWC, Vodafone and Pearson. Dale then co-founded and led Omega Logic, which launched electronic mobile phone top-ups in Britain alongside the mobile phone networks. Omega Logic grew to £450m in gross transaction revenue and Dale sold it to First Data Corporation.
Dale was awarded the British Angel Investor of the Year in 2011 by UK Business Angels Association, served on the Business Taskforce for David Cameron and was a non-executive director at the Department for Business (BEIS). She was honoured with a CBE in 2013 by HM the Queen for services to business.
Giovanni (or Gio) is a Partner at Founders Intelligence. He is also NED & Advisor to ustwo which includes: ustwo Studios, a leading global independent product and service design studio; ustwo Games, an award-winning games studio; ustwo Adventure, ustwo’s venture-arm; and NED for Wayfindr, a social enterprise backed by Google.org on a mission to empower vision impaired people to navigate the world independently. Previously he was CEO & Co-Founder of SideStory, a luxury travel experiences start-up (acquired by Mr & Mrs Smith); Corporate Development Director / SVP for Virgin Group; Head of Corporate Development at Virgin Atlantic; Strategy Director for TACA Airlines in El Salvador; and strategy consultant with Bain and Company.
Sandra Steving Villegas
Sandra’s multidisciplinary background spans strategy, innovation, venture development, design and architecture. She is Head of Innovation at Founders Intelligence, where she leads projects across new ventures, digital transformation, partnerships and investment across consumer goods, luxury, retail and financial services. Previously she was a Director at Fahrenheit 212, initially in New York, from where she went on to launch and scale the London office. She has advised global companies including American Express, Citi, Fannie Mae, GE, Marriott, Puig and Unilever. Sandra holds an MBA from Oxford University and is a graduate of New York University.
Prior to joining Founders Intelligence, Jad was the Co-Founder and CEO of Tenant Genie, a proptech venture. He is also a mentor at the Flat6Labs accelerator and advisor to several start-ups. Jad started his career in corporate and investment banking having spent eleven years at Citigroup and Barclays.
CEO and Partner – FI LATAM
Alex leads the Founders Intelligence LATAM team based in São Paulo, which in 2017 became the first international office outside of the European headquarters. The move followed four years with the team in London, after becoming an early joiner at the business inception in 2013. Prior to this, Alex worked at a boutique investment bank, Lepe Partners, which advised clients executing M&A and venture investment transactions in the technology, media, and telecoms (TMT) sector. He is also a Tech for Good advisor to the Founders Pledge, a non-profit organisation that supports a community of 1k+ global entrepreneurs who have pledged over $1.9bn in equity to social impact causes. Alex holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology and Social Policy from the University of Leeds.
Partner – FI LATAM
Miguel joined Founders Intelligence as a Partner in Latin America in 2019 bringing a breadth of experience from prior corporate and executive leadership roles in strategy, M&A, business transformation and new ventures. He was also part of the early teams at two startups (Netstream and OptiGlobe) in the IT and telecom infrastructure space in Brazil. He started his career in strategy consulting with Monitor Group and holds a ScB in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University and a MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Oren is a former investment professional turned fintech entrepreneur. At Founders Intelligence, Oren advises the top UK & European banks on digital innovation, digital growth & transformation. Prior to FI, Oren co-founded Pave, a venture-backed online lender democratising access to credit for marginalised segments in the US. Previously, he co-managed private equity funds at GLG Partners, worked in structured finance at Goldman Sachs, and started his career as a lawyer at Clifford Chance. Oren co-founded the Fcancer Project, an online charitable platform for the young to donate their skills to cancer charities around the world. He has a strong affection for ancient and medieval history and secretly aspires to join the European Senior PGA golf tour on his 50th birthday. Oren holds a first class degree in History from the University of Leeds.
Orna is Chair of Founders Intelligence. She spent 18 years at McKinsey and Company's London office, where she was the first woman to be elected Partner. Since leaving McKinsey in 2001, she has served on the boards of Royal Mail, Bupa, Northern Foods, HMV and Bank of Ireland UK, while also continuing to advise major retailers on strategy; she has also been an advisor to Apax Partners LLP. Orna is Chair of the Remuneration Committee at Burberry plc and is the Senior Independent Director at Saga plc. She is a senior advisor to Eden McCallum, Deputy Chair of the National Trust and a Trustee of Sir John Soane’s Museum. She holds degrees in Electronic Engineering from University College Dublin and University College Cork, and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
Brent co-founded Founders Intelligence and our parent organisation, Founders Forum. He co-founded lastminute.com, was CEO from its inception, and sold it in 2005 to Sabre for $1.1B; he is the co-founder of made.com, among other tech businesses which have raised over $650B. Brent is a former board member of TalkTalk, TimeOut, The Guardian Media Group, Shazam Entertainment and The Economist. He is an advisory board member of LetterOne Technology (a $16B investment fund), the Oxford Foundry and the UK Gov Digital Advisory Board. Brent is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, a former Prime Minister’s Business Trade Ambassador and co-chairs the Prime Minister’s Business Sector Council for Britain in entrepreneurship, scale-ups and small business. In 2015, Brent was awarded a CBE for services to entrepreneurship.
Henry Lane Fox
Henry is a co-founder of Founders Intelligence and is Co-Founder & CEO of Founders Factory; he previously was CEO of Founders Forum Group and remains a partner. He has deep experience of advising global brands and institutional investors on digital transformation, emerging technologies and start-up partnerships, working closely with companies including Sky, Visa, Tesco, Silver Lake and L’Oreal. Henry is a partner at firstminute capital, co-founded micro-learning platform SmartUp.io and professional matchmaking platform Grip. He began his adventures in digital as one of the founding team at lastminute.com where he served as Head of Product Development.
